The story started almost a year ago, when the subcontractor of BMW searched for a reflective tape for their mechanics coveralls. The following requirements were set:
- heat transfer application and
- the product shall withstand industry wash.
Amy Wang, plant manager of LOXY Shanghai, and her team worked for several months on this project. “We have tested and checked the tapes together with the customer. Finally, the customer is satisfied, and our Chinese technicians train the production facilities of the coveralls how to set the logos”, says Amy Wang.
